I’ve been known to joke about how much I hate Christmas… but I ain’t no Grinch. Promise. I am, however, a mom who’s hell-bent on keeping things in perspective and grounded in reality without losing any of the fun. More is not always better. Especially at Christmas. (Call me Scrooge.)
So, for my latest FAB Mom segment on CBS Los Angeles, I tapped into my personal holidaze and challenged all of us parents to get a grip, not buy those last 3 items that we were going to get for our kids (on top of the 5 presents each we’ve already gotten them) and just chill by the tree with our red wine hot cocoa.
Because yes, kids these days are spoiled every single day (mine included)… maybe Christmas is the modern family’s opportunity to sneak in life lessons instead of going for broke? WATCH:
