So, if you read my little bio on this page (“Meet the Mommy”) you know I had two babies pretty much back to back: one was born in September 2010, the other one born in March 2012. Do the math. That’s not a lot of time between bumps and babies. (I still have no idea how it happened…) Did I crumble? Nope. Was I exhausted? I must’ve been, but at the time I didn’t feel like it at all (I’m exhausted now, but that’s another story…) How did I handle two babies under the age of a year and a half back then? How to prepare for motherhood in the most effective way?
Show business. I handled those back-to-back babies because I am a product of working in show business.
Don’t believe me? Just plain confused? I wrote all about it in detail over on Mom.me and credited my ability to bounce back to already-existing jacked up sleep patterns, repeated actions and words that must always seem like you’re doing them for the ‘first’ time and (unfortunately) being conditioned to getting crapped on over the years. Check out the full piece here… and let me know if I’ve won an award yet. (Emmy? Oscar?)
