It’s coming. It’s not so far away. And it’s here in our galaxy. Disney’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens is opening in theaters everywhere Friday December 18… and fans are freaking out of their minds (and out of this world). Moms. Kids. Families. (You already know we here at The Fab Mom are fans…. from training with Darth to conquering a near-fail with Chewbacca.) We want our Star Wars gifts already.
So for fans of all ages everywhere… it’s time to get your Force on. Especially if you’ve still got holiday shopping to do. (Which I do. Who knew this many products containing The Force were for sale at Disneyland’s new Launch Bay in Tomorrowland? Fabulous.) For kids, moms and dads too: Disney Infinity 3.0 gamers will flip over updated levels and avatars to conquer the galaxy in whole new ways. Superfans can also snag all sorts of signed paraphernalia (posters, pictures, costumes and more). You can also design your won D-tech on Demand phone case… you know, so The Force is with you at all times.
So, ok. There are brand new Star Wars gifts for everybody these days at the Launch Bay. But I want stuff for ME. THE MOM. I want glitz… that includes Darth Vader on across my chest (you know, to say “Don’t mess with me… I’m on the Dark Side”).
I want glamour… in the shape of sophisticated Alex and Ani bangles in silver or gold finish (something to say “Princess Leia’s got nothin’ on me….”).
I want something chic… like Dooney & Bourke purses (to stash all those baby wipes I still carry around to wipe runny noses).
But the most powerful tool in the galaxy? Something that can make my family believe I’ve got more power, more stealth, more Force than anyone else. And that, my friends, would be the… well… watch the video and find out!
(Yes, I bought a Force Push Glove myself and brought it home to demonstrate my Dark Side when duty calls…) May the Force be with us moms. Happy Shopping Star Wars fans!!!
