LilMiss is turning two! (?!?!?!?!?) A few days ago I had an early birthday brunch honoring her barge into this world with just family… which included 8 immediate kid cousins. How to turn my kitchen into a fun and fabulous kid-zone appropriate for brunching? Like this:
Total time to do? About 3 minutes. Maybe 4.
I snagged a plastic tablecloth and ribbon and wrapped my kitchen table like a big birthday gift. Nothing fancy… just used curly ribbon and tied a larger bow in the middle with some thicker ribbon that I had leftover from something else. I used two separate strings for the horizontal and vertical ribbons, rather than using one large string to wrap it all around. Underneath, it looked like this:
Just like a present!
Then I added snack cups filled with all the sugar cereals parents everywhere hate (but secretly love):
Lucky Charms & Fruit Loops. (naughty, naughty)
And because I was already in too deep, I turned LilMiss into an actual butterfly… if only for the ‘brunch’ part. Fabulous.
Only butterflies can sit at the big kid table.
