Last year after the Golden Globes, I did a quickie-post highlighting my fave 2013 MOMents (you know, moments that involved mom-centric things). I liked it (the moments and my post)… so I’m doing it again. And I wouldn’t be myself if I didn’t showcase the fabulous expecting soon-to-be MOMs. As you know, I’m kind of obsessed with dressing up baby bumps for award shows (been there, done that). With that, I present: The Golden Globes Awards 2014. A la The-Fab-Mom:
The award for the Hands-Down-Hottest-Pregnant-RedCarpet-Look goes to… Olivia Wilde. “May the fourth be with you,” she told Ryan Seacrest during arrivals (yeah, that’s her due-date). The green? Daring and flat-out sexy if you ask me.

The award for the Oh-My-I-Saw-A-Picture-And-Hated-It-Until-She-Spoke-On-Camera-And-Then-Loved-It goes to… Drew Barrymore. Seriously, I saw a shot of Drew in this dress before her actual on-air interview and I was pretty much horrified. But then a funny – and fabulous – thing happened: The second that charming gal opened her mouth and spilled how her Monique Lhullier dress made her feel good the second she put it on (compared to other dresses that made her feel bad), I was sold. Her genuine happiness from the inside-out changed my opinion. Free-spirited and fun.
The award for the Usually-I-Think-Aprony-Things-Like-This-Look-Dated-But-For-Some-Reason-Not-This-Time goes to Kerry Washington. Classic and classy. Add extra points for pulling off the off-white.
Three totally different looks, proving that pregnancy-style comes in all incarnations. Well done women… you almost make me want to have another baby just so I can dress a bump.
(On a total side-note, I’m convinced that one of my online mommy-buddies and I share a brain, considering how I was obsessed with these pregnant stars’ style as I watched coverage while treadmill-ing at the gym… only to see this Instagram post pop up on her feed!
