So what if we all lied? Big whoop. You gotta do what you gotta do. When T-Mobile gives me their new MyTouch smartphone to use on a busy day of errands, I do it happily (the little sucker was pretty cool, telling me where and how to go where I needed to be… not to mention it made me feel like a genius). But I must warn you: What you see in the vid is not entirely true. We lied about something. Something fairly big. And our little fib has been eating away at me since we shot this almost a month ago. I’m compelled to tell you the truth. So I will, because it’s the fabulous thing to do:
THE “DOG” STARRING IN THE VIDEO BELOW WAS NOT PURCHASED WHERE WE LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE HE WAS PURCHASED.
There. I said it. You’re in shock. I know. I’m sorry. But it had to be done. Listen, the producers needed a cute prop to quickly fit in with our shoot day’s schedule, and the big guy was just chillin’ there in my trunk leftover from a recent family trip to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. “Can we use the dog?” Done. Shoot-day saved. (See Mom? It pays to not constantly clean out your car!) Instead of purchasing the animal at the store you see in the video (below), my brother-in-law actually won the little made-in-China husky for LadyP on our vacation days prior to shooting the vid. That dog was partially responsible for getting my toddler to sleep that first night. As a sentimental mommy, that’s ALL I could think about while shooting this video! Lines? Who needs lines when your brain is skipping down memory lane and smiling inside just thinking how happy your little girl was to wake up to her new fluffy friend that next morning. (Good Mooohhrning Doggie!) Way to mess with my concentration on a serious workday, right? But the show must go on. It’s what us moms do.
But no. We bought the dog on the day I shot this video.
So we lied. It was all in the name of good producing (and getting to play with our MyTouch smartphone more!). Now I’m relieved. At least you know. A weight has been lifted. Sigh.
With that, I hope you enjoy watching my first-hand experience and check out mytouch.t-mobile.com and learn how the new T-Mobile myTouch and myTouch Q are as simple as they are smart. And I hope you find solace now that you know the whole truth.
