Holy Mother. How the eff did I get to be almost 8 months pregnant (again). I just did the math and was horrified. My heart literally stopped for a second and I gasped. And then I saw my emerging mini-double chin (in the video below) and really gasped.
No wonder I’ve been feeling tired. And now I’m mentally tired too. I still need a double stroller. I still need a toddler bed (for someone who’s still too young to even sleep in a toddler bed). I still need to organize my closet. I still need to potty-train someone (who’s – yes – too young to be potty-trained). I still need to put the finishing touches on my front yard’s new landscaping. I still need to get our front door painted. I still need to sort through and separate all the infant clothes from the 6 month clothes from the 9 month clothes from the toddler clothes. I still need to frame our wedding photos (from 2009, mind you) and hang them in our new home. I still need to figure out how to rearrange LadyP’s bedroom to accommodate another tiny person and her toys… arguably the most challenging and urgent situation. Sheesh.
I guess I should start with the nursery? One of those gliders sounds really good to calm the noise in my own head right about now… Check out what Ellen of BabyMeetsCity and I discuss via Momversation… and send your tips our way too!

Jill,
You can do it.
I know, I’ve been there.
My oldest was 17months when I had to put him into a toddler bed (to avoid purchasing a 2nd crib). My only suggestion would be to have your little girl use her ‘new’ bed for a few weeks (if at all possible) so she’s used to it, before baby comes home and takes her current one away from her.
Good luck! Wishing you all the best.
