You see, it’s not like I don’t treasure LadyP’s first milestones…. I just honestly soak them up when they happen and then go along with life. Maybe it’s wrong not to remember everything in minute detail? But I do know this about myself: I try not to DWELL in the past or future too much. One of the most random things I’ve learned is to relish the PRESENT when it happens. Life is merely but a bunch of moments…. savor those moments when they happen and then be ready for the next one.
(And yes, I HAVE filled out her baby book – contrary to what the video leads you to believe! But my baby book is more like a journal/diary of fun little stories of things she did, the way I felt, and on and on… I wanted to create a bit of fun reading for LadyP when she’s older.)
