It was a busy week. The thing that saved me? Nighttime showers. Silly, but true. This week turned out to be a 5-day workweek for me (woohoooo!!!) and was chock full with prepping (shopping, cooking, wrapping, planting… basically anything with an -ing on the end of it) for LadyP’s 1st birthday party this Saturday (post of course to follow on Monday). As if her party weren’t enough, I had various evening commitments associated with work that – happily – sucked away my time from anything else I was supposed to be do (One of those commitments included doing interviews backstage for Dancing with the Stars for CNN/HLN! Waaaaay fun. Watch a snipit here on Morning Express with Robin Meade.) Whew. What a week.
Showering at night relaxed me and also guaranteed that I’d actually shower and stay clean (as opposed to waking up groggy, saying “hell with it all, I don’t stink” and just spraying perfume all over myself in a dozed glaze). Lord knows I’ve skipped a shower or two (or more) in my sordid past in the interest of saving time. Gross, but sometimes necessary. If I’d have left showering for my morning routine, I’d have never made it.
Who’s with me?
(Consider this your Fab-Tip for September.)
