You tell me if I hid my giddiness well: Check out my interview with the stars of Jane Eyre (in theaters this weekend). Did I mention that the *HOT* Michael Fassbender is in it? Exhibit A at right —>
Ok, ok… I should give the titular star more credit: Mia Wasikowska is remarkably sophisticated and impressive as one of literature’s most enduring characters. But, Michael Fassbender also happens to be super-easy on the eyes and uber-talented to boot. High brow literature adaptations that involve period costumes and accents of any kind are generally not my thing, but this movie’s actually a good one for teenage girls/boys familiar with the story (and also serves as a great introduction to the classic as well). To top it off, the movie was helmed by a young director and was shot in just a few weeks amidst some of the most historical sites in the English countryside. Something that all movie fans can appreciate and all moms can approve. Sounds like this new Mommy might be growing up?
