Babies do it, and you should too. Don’t be lazy about it. It sounds silly, but do it anytime and anywhere you can. I prefer twice a day: once in the morning and once at night.
TOUCH YOUR TOES.
That’s right: Stand up, bend forward and grab your little piggies. It’s good for you. Why? Because I’ve discovered it is (at least, it works for me.) I’m lucky if I get to the gym once every 2 weeks, but I can touch my toes wherever and whenever. Take a toes-break when you’re loading your dishwasher. Take a toes-break before you get in the shower. Take a toes-break before you sit down on the couch. Just do it, do it often and hold it upside-down as long as you can. Feeeeeeel that stretch. Oooooohh-eeeeee! I did it every day throughout my pregnancy (yes, until the VERY end… belly and all… it is possible, although not quite like the picture of the chick in the red pants).
Your body will feel better, your back will feel restored and your muscles will get leaner (like a dancer). You will instantly feel refreshed and young again. (And if at first you don’t succeed, keep trying until you do.) Trust me on this one.
What do you do to renew?

I do need to touch my toes more often. Exercise is always good for you, no matter how little it is. 🙂
