Today is my last-ditch organization day before I succumb to Baby’s arrival.
All laundry has been washed & put away, all dishes have been cleaned, all food has been cooked, and all floors have been mopped. My apartment has never looked better.
And, there are 3 “Do’s” I’d like to pass along to YOU (expecting-mommies out there) for when it’s your turn:
1) DO opt to get a changing table with drawers (not like I did). As much as I LOVE the airy, open look of this, it’s really not practical for storing all the baby clothes/items you need space for.
2) DO get as many of these hanging storage pockets that you have doors for… a FABULOUS way to store your burpcloths, blankets and waterproof pads for easy access:
3) DO start researching suitable vehicle options when you find out you are pregnant. DON’T be like me and pretend that you can keep your pre-baby, 2-door, dream-car convertible (that you worked so hard to earn!) on account of holding on to your old life. This just looks silly:
