Fab Find! Why I want to grow another bump.

Last night I hit up an event in honor of Bump Month thanks to SavvySassyMoms. (Yes, she IS savvy+sassy in person!) And the event was too… especially since it was a benefit for Help A Mother Out, a fantastic non-profit that provides diapers to mommies and babies in need.

Besides giving back to the mommy community and then getting a juicy little goody bag with all sorts of Fab Finds (including funny-but-useful Diaper Buds) I was also the unexpectedly-lucky winner of a custom maternity dress designed by Nuka Maternity. (Don’t get any ideas, no bump for me in the immediate future… but LadyP was an accident so I guess you never can tell.)

I personally HATED shopping for maternity clothes when my bun was in the the oven (which is why I really never did), but meeting the owner/designer of Nuka (Julia) made me want to grow another bump just so I could legitimately wear her clothes without being the crazy non-pregnant woman walking around in maternity dresses. And the fact that Julia is a mom of 2 little girls (who she named her company after) and absolutely gorgeous and sweet didn’t hurt either!
